In 1945, Albert Rainville, starts making cement blocks by hand. He makes them one by one, using a wooden mould.
It’s in 1963 that his son, Azellus, established the business “A. Rainville and Son Inc.”. Equipped with the latest technology, the business was producing up to 5000 cement blocks per day.
In 1968, after moving in a new location the business expands to the next level. Christian and Luc Rainville show interest in the business by getting involved in the manufacturing and marketing of the products. They’re ready to take over the business in 1982.
Unfortunately, in 1980 a fire destroys the plant, but pounding the pavement was not in the plans! The Rainville’s rebuild and take the opportunity to increase their production.
A few years later, having invested more than half a million dollars, the Rainville’s open a showroom that meets the highest expectations of customers in the industry of masonry.
Stone by stone, brick by brick, Albert, Azellus, Christian and Luc have built a business solid as a rock!
